As an employer and a staffing service, Co-Op collects various personal and past-employment data on all applicants in order to develop a detailed understanding of each applicant's skills, history, work style, and experience. We share that information with our clients and associates as we deem appropriate to convey the full scope of an individual's qualifications for potential employment or assignment. We may also provide applicant information to our third-party associates or vendors for the purpose of background verification.
2. Past and Current Employers
Co-Op will contact an applicant's previous employers and references to verify information provided regarding past work history, unless we are specifically instructed not to contact a previous employer or employers. Co-Op will NOT knowingly contact current employers unless we receive the applicant's express permission to do so.
3. No Sale or Distribution of Personal Information
Co-Op does not sell or distribute personal information on our applicants and employees to advertisers or for other commercial purposes, except as described above.
4. Security
Co-Op is committed to ensuring the security of our applicant and employee information. We have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data integrity, and ensure the appropriate use of information we collect online.
5. Site Logs and Web Statistics
Co-Op may collect aggregate statistical information regarding use of this website for the purposes of managing and enhancing our online services. Co-Op does not associate such statistical information with personal information such as names or e-mail addresses, nor do we monitor the usage of the site by specific individuals.
